Warehouse Associate

Job Description Summary

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials. Picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Duties

  1.  Shipping
    a) Pre-packaging inventory in standard release quantities.
    b) Order picking using handheld scan gun to verify correct part and lot being picked.
    c) Package and process orders with various small package carries such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL using the Epicor ERP software program.
  2.  Receiving
    a) Receive incoming product from suppliers using the Epicor ERP software program, comparing packing slip with parts received to ensure correct part number and quantity.
    b) Stock put away, using system generated stock sheet to place parts into correct stock location ensuring all stock has been rotated by lot number.
  3. Production Assistant
    a) Pick and Kit Jobs from the warehouse for the Production Team
    b) Assist with basic assembly as required by Supervisor
  4. Building Maintenance
    a) Basic daily warehouse maintenance such as sweeping, trash, recycle corrugated, changing of light bulbs.
    b) Warehouse Associates are responsible for sidewalk snow removal during daytime business hours. This includes shoveling snow and applying salt as required to maintain a safe walking environment for customers, building tenants, and fellow employees.
  5. Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor

Working Conditions

  1. Forty plus hours per week over five working days.
  2. Agility Warehouse environment.
  3. Overtime hours as required by Supervisor.

Education, Skill and Experiences

  1. High School Diploma.
  2. 1-4 years of warehouse experience.
  3. Knowledge of UPS and FedEx shipping software.
  4. Previous Epicor ERP software experience a plus.
